Gumball 3000 Comes to Europe with David Hasselhoff

 This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Gumball 3000 Rally and it is now time to find out where and when the 100 participants will hoon their rides.Last year the rally took place on US soil where it originated, but 2013 brings the party-cipants to Europe. As usual, a lot of celebrities will attend the event, with the list ranging from skateboard icon Tony Hawk to Baywatch star David Hasselhoff. By the way, none of the aforementioned VIPs are new to the Gumball.This year they are proud to welcome him back on their 15th Anniversary Rally, with a route perfectly suited to the Hoff, the fans are set to go crazy when he rolls into all the countries along the way.Here is the 2013 Gumball Rally Schedule:

  • 18th & 19th May – Copenhagen
  • 19th May – TOP SECRET CHECKPOINT
  • That night we stay on a boat over night travelling to Finland.
  • Arrive 20th – Helsinki ( TOP SECRET CHECKPOINT)
  • 20th – St Petersburg
  • 21st – Checkpoint – Tallin
  • 21st – Riga
  • 22nd – Checkpoint – Vilnius
  • 22nd – Warsaw
  • 23rd – Checkpoint – Krakow
  • 23rd – Vienna

Gumball 3000 Loves the Hoff

David is once again going to take part in the Gumball 3000 rally, according to their website. He is expected to start the race off in London on Saturday at Pall Mall at 2 p.m.The tour will begin in London on the 1st May, before taking in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Quebec City, Toronto and finally rounding off in New York. Seven long days and nights later, 3000 miles across some of the finest scenery in Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and the US.David first got involved with the race back in 2008, driving the famous K.I.T.T. in San Francisco.

Gumball Starts Without the Hoff

David Hasselhoff checks out some cars at Gumball 3000 Sue at Knight Rider Online reported today that David will not be starting Gumball 3000, due to his father being ill.

Friday David Hasselhoff was spotted by WENN photographers as he checked out some of the entries of this years Gumball 3000. Fans had high hopes of seeing him in the race as it started on Saturday, but sadly the actor had to back out last minute due to his father's sudden poor health.Early on there were reports that David might make an appearance at the Santa Monica Pier to wave the checkered flag and see the race off; but in the end the honnor was given to Dennis Rodman.It is unknown if David will try to pick up the race at one of the other city stopovers as the race heads to Miami Florida.
