BGC Charity DayThe London BGC Charity Day drew to a close recently, but the New York offices are just beginning their charity day. David Hasselhoff was in London today to raise money for the charity I CAN, a children's communication charity. All the numbers aren't in yet, but the last deal Prince Harry and William made was for €25bn (£21bn), a world record for a forward foreign exchange.We'll be updating this article with photos and information as it comes down. The celebrities will arrive with one purpose, to hit the trading floor phones and raise millions for dozens of charities in the UK and around the world.In commemoration of the 658 employees lost in the World Trade Center attacks, HRH The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry will join personalities to assist licensed BGC brokers and help conclude multi-million pound trades with BGC’s clients. Celebrity guests include Andre Villas-Boas, Penny Lancaster-Stewart and Rod Stewart, as well as Chris Evans and the legendary David Hasselhoff.BGC Partners, Inc., was formerly part of Cantor Fitzgerald until 2008 and now hosts the BGC Charity Day each year to commemorate colleagues who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks. All revenues generated during the course of the day are donated to good causes.
