Hoff Calls In On Youngsters at Hospital

David Hasselhoff took a break from his role as a pantomime villain to spread some cheer among children at Bristol Children's Hospital. The former Baywatch and Knight Rider star visited young patients who have not been well enough to see him in Peter Pan at Bristol Hippodrome, to chat and hand out gifts, in support of hospital charity Above and Beyond.David Hasselhoff said: "I am very honoured to have been invited to meet the children at the hospital. I believe if you are blessed, it is your moral obligation to give that blessing back to someone else. I want to do what I can to support Above and Beyond, which raises funds to help the city centre hospitals, and the wonderful work that all the doctors and nurses at the Children's Hospital do."Sarah Talbot-Williams, chief executive of Above and Beyond, said: "We are so grateful to David Hasselhoff for making time in his busy performing schedule to bring some Hoff magic to children who are not well enough to go to see Peter Pan. It's lovely that he will be able to meet both younger and older children at the hospital."
